I'm not Aamir girl in Dhoom 3: Priyanka Chopra

Bollywood actres Priyanka Chopra has shot down reports that she has been roped in to star opposite Aamir Khan in Yash Raj's "Dhoom 3".

"I have not been approached for 'Dhoom 3', " Priyanka told reports here Tuesday. The actress was present along with director Vishal Bhardwaj at PVR cinemas in Select Citywalk Mall for promoting her upcoming film "7 Khoon Maaf".

Asked if she would like to be a part of the film, Priyanka added, "I don't answer hypothetical questions. If something happens I would definitely let everyone know."

"7 Khoon Maaf" is the big screen adaptation of renowned writer Ruskin Bond's short story "Susanne's Seven Husbands", where Priyanka plays the protagonist and her seven husbands are played by Neil Nitin Mukesh, John Abraham, Irrfan Khan, Russian actor Aleksandr Dyachenko, Annu Kapoor and Nasseruddin Shah.

After link-up with Shahid Priyanka turns poetess

At a recent award show, Priyanka Chopra surprised everyone by reciting self-written shayiris in praise of the bollywood divas

Priyanka Chopra has been more in news recently for her link-ups with Shahid Kapur, but very few people know that she's a budding poetess too.

At a recent women's awards show, Priyanka paid tribute to three senior actresses, Saira Banu, Hema Malini and Madhuri Dixit, by writing a couplet for each of them.

Apparently Priyanka didn't want just a normal song-and-dance routine. A source present at the awards, said, "Priyanka was not happy with the script given by the organisers. Time was running out and the show was about to start.

So she sat with Rowena Baweja, the conceptualiser of the awards and penned down shayiris for all the three B-town divas. In just about an hour, Priyanka put the shayiris together. She also did the voice over for the audio-visuals."

Says a source close to Priyanka, "Priyanka loves writing shayiris and has been writing them for a long time. Recently, she has rediscovered Rumi and Ghalib. Over the past year or so Priyanka has been quietly writing poetry when she feels like it.

She doesn't talk much about it as it is a very private part of her life."

But the actress hasn't been able to write much though. Priyanka's friend said, "Priyanka hasn't had much of a chance in the past few years to pen her poetry because she's been working hard.

She's doing films and endorsements and it is difficult to pen sensitive stuff with so many things happening. This is the first time that she has come out and recited the couplets on stage."

Priyanka's shayiris

Hema Malini
Kehta hain jo khwaab nahin dekhte,
Woh zindagi nahin jitey,
Aur khwaab tabhi khubsurat hotey hain,
Jab unmein khwabon ki mallika rehti hain

Madhuri Dixit
Ek aisi abhinetri jo kuch na keh kar apne andaaz se sab kuch keh jaati hain,
Ek do teen ki ginti aap se hi shuru hoti hain aur aap pe hi khatam ho jaati hain

Saira Banu
Aap aurat ka woh roop hain jo shairon ko majboor kar deta hai
Ki aurat ke baare mein
Usse kali keh ke, phool kehke, mukhatib kiya jaaye
Kashmir ki kali
